My career in health and fitness was first sparked when I entered Dundee University Sports Centre as an undergraduate. What began initially as a hobby and a means of self improvement soon crystalised itself into a way of life. Whilst studying at Moray House and eventually graduating with a Diploma in Sports Management, I underwent formal training in my spare time to become an accredited Personal Trainer which would allow me to share my energy and enthusiasm for fitness with others in a professional capacity.

Over the years that followed I’ve worked both within the UK and overseas as a Personal Trainer and have had the privilege of being able to work along side top strength and conditioning coaches and trainers, whose friendship and knowledge have helped me to refine and continue to broaden my own skill base. I successfully placed 3rd in the First Timers Category for the Mr Scotland 2008 NABBA Bodybuilding Competition.  Most recently working in London for 2 years as a Personal Trainer and Reformer Pilates Teacher with Ten Health and Fitness, London’s leading provider of Dynamic Reformer Pilates and Personal Training.

Currently I work as a Freelance Personal Trainer and divide my time between the Pure Gym located at Edinburgh Exchange Crescent as well as  providing Pilates, Sports Massage Therapy and One to One Personal Training Sessions at  Balanced  Edinburgh's Stockbridge Physio/Pilates Studio. I'm also commited to developing my holistic service provision further and am currently undergoing training to become a qualified Hypnotherapist which I aim to successfully complete by the end of this year.

 

Sustainable

I try to find exercises and training plans that are enjoyable for my clients as well as effective in getting the results needed. I am a strong believer in the power of good nutrition and lifestyle, which means I encourage my clients to adopt healthier patterns.  I am not a drill sergeant. I work with you to develop health and fitness in a sustainable and enjoyable manner. You won’t be pushed beyond your limits using violent training methods.


Tailored

I teach you to listen to your body and push yourself as hard as is appropriate. As you get fitter and stronger, we may work harder. By combining fun, effective exercise, with proper program design and lifestyle factors you will definitely achieve your goals.

We work together to bring positive changes in your physical health and wellbeing. This leads to changes and improvement in confidence, health and vitality.
